Performing Arts Students Shine in “God on Broadway”

What do you get when you mix multi-talented students with some of the very best show tunes on Broadway? Three outstanding performances with resounding applause in Immaculata Hall. St. Mary’s High School Performing Arts Department once again dazzled audiences during this year’s fall production of “God on Broadway”. Written by Andrew J. Koslosky and Pat White of The Josephine Foundation, the score included the very best songs with relation to God from Broadway blockbusters such as “Close Every Door”, “Day by Day”, “Tradition”, “Superstar”, “Climb Every Mountain”, and “Haven’t Got a Prayer”.
Directed by Andrew J. Koslosky, students took to the stage with confidence and charisma that lifted the spirits of attendees who could not keep their hands or feet still during each performance over the late November weekend. Special thanks to the band, stage and set design crews who added their talent to the show and to all of the volunteers who helped make this show another success. Two more shows are in store for St. Mary’s this school year. We look forward to seeing the Elementary School students in their February production of “The Music Man Jr.” as well as the next production by the High School in the spring.
