Within walking distance of Manhasset Bay Yacht Club. If the weather is good, also a good venue to take advantage of the view over a Saturday luncheon on the deck.

Comments: located 2 blocks or so from the Roslyn Hotel where a number of classmates are staying; attractive bar; large dining room; 2 second floor private rooms (no handicapped accessibility) and large private room on first floor; very much in demand-might be difficult to get a reservation on a Friday night.

Comments: Cruises around the Manhattan Skyline and the Statue of Liberty; full dinner with DJ and open bar for 3 hours; cruise ship can accommodate up to 149 people; cost is $149 per person/$135 for groups of 25 or more.

Golf. Harbor Links public golf course offers an 18 hole championship course and an executive 9 hole course. Located at One Fairway Drive, Port Washington (P- 516-767-4818)

Comments: A nice way to spend Saturday; terrific relatively new golf course; rate is $113 per person including golf cart for Championship Course; $26 per person for 9 hole executive course. Expect a 5 hour round; beautiful facility….surf on web page; they also have a very nice bar and dining room overlooking the golf course. Nice venue for a Saturday luncheon

Comments: Unique landscaped park stretching from 30th street down to around 10th street; established in 1999; elevated park created on an abandoned former freight rail line; no fee; elevator and stair access; nice way to spend a Saturday;  Approximately a 55 minute one way trip from the Long Island Port Washington Railroad Station to Penn Station to include a short walk to 10thAvenue. Numerous restaurants along the way.
