50th Reunion Guidelines for Saint Mary’s High School

Alumni recognize class reunions as one of the most meaningful ways to stay connected with St. Mary’s High School. The Office of Development and Alumni Relations and the Alumni Association Board is dedicated to serving these events in the most efficient and effective way possible.

The 50th reunion is managed as an individual class celebration.

In this model, the creation and mailing of an invitation, online registration, management of RSVPS, creation of nametags, a guest list for those in attendance, all event details including finances are all their responsibility of the Office of Development and Alumni Relations.

Class members are invited to get involved by encouraging other classmates to attend the event and personalize the event in ways that are meaningful to their class – maybe there was a particular thing that was memorable that you want mentioned that evening or maybe you want a particular faculty members invited.  All of these details make for a meaningful and unique experience.

The advantages of this model include:

  • Full support from the Office of Development and Alumni Relations
  • No need to manage event details, especially finances
  • No stress about guaranteed minimums or cumbersome venue contracts
  • Ability to focus on the most fun aspects of class reunions – your friends and your favorite memories.
  • Opportunity to see friends and classmates from other years
  • Tax Exempt Status

A school representative will attend the event. It is wise to coordinate the desired event date with the school calendar, particularly if you are interested in inviting faculty and administrators.
